Jacob Peres Office Celebrates the Launch of its New Trends & Insight Division
Jacob Peres Office celebrated the launch of their Trends and Insight Division that complements its creative consultancy and international communication services, with a Milan Design Week Trend Briefing, mapping emerging trends from the design industry’s most important week. The event inspired by Milanese Aperitivo, was hosted at Tel Aviv’s newest urban spot - the rooftop of the Vera Hotel. Founder, Jacob Peres and Trend Division Director Laurence Pasquier, led the intimate event with an in-depth analysis of new and long-term design and lifestyle trends that were most evident in Milan.
The new division specialises in customised trend forecasting, tailored to brands’ needs and visions. The division will cover a wide range of services from macro trend strategies to colour and material direction, and high quality marketing tools such as trend reports, books and films.
The launch of the new division was celebrated following great successes during this year’s Milan Design Week for Jacob Peres Office and their long-term partner Allenby NY. The companies’ joint project, The Diner, in collaboration with leading American magazine Surface and architect David Rockwell, won Best Engagement Award from Milan City and Fuorisalone, chosen from over 2,000 installations that took place in Milan during the week. Jacob Peres Office and Allenby NY, conceptualized, developed and executed The Diner, a contemporary take on the iconic American Diner, which welcomed over 40,000 guests and was fully booked throughout the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Jacob Peres Office and Allenby NY also continued their longstanding collaboration with leading quartz manufacturer, Caesarstone. This year’s Designer Collaboration Programme saw New York-based collaborative design practice, Snarkitecture, execute an ethereal installation at the faded grandeur of Palazzo dell’Ufficio Elettorale di Porta Romana. ‘Altered States’ was hailed one of the most instagramable moments of the week.
